Data Sources | Reputify

1. Overview

Reputify helps you understand and act on customer feedback. Most reputation data comes from Google Business Profile (GBP) when you connect with Google OAuth, plus public listing signals from Google Places for comparison features. You also enter business details directly in Reputify.

We do not claim Google endorsement. Where Google attribution is required in the product UI, we display it.

2. Google Business Profile (authorized connection)

When you connect Google, we sync data you are authorized to manage, including:

Reviews — rating, text, date, reviewer display name/photo where provided, and your replies
Location profile — name, address, phone, hours, categories, and related listing fields exposed by Google APIs
Listing health signals — summaries used by Profile Pulse (e.g. post/photo freshness, performance metrics where available)

Used for: Review Inbox, notifications, dashboard analytics, Profile Pulse, AI-assisted insights, and publishing replies when you approve them.

Retention: While your workspace is active and Google remains connected, unless you delete data or close your account. See the Privacy Policy for export and deletion.

3. Public listing signals (Google Places)

Some features use public place data (not your private GBP OAuth data), for example:

Neighborhood Scan — peer comparison near your location (ratings, review counts, listing completeness signals)
Competitor benchmarking (Scale) — ratings and review counts for place IDs you add
Marketing free snapshot — a one-time public profile glimpse; the scan itself is not stored; only your contact details if you submit the lead form

Comparison features use aggregated public signals. They are illustrative—not a guarantee of ranking or revenue outcomes.

4. Data you provide

Account and business profile (name, team, billing)
Review request recipient contacts (you are responsible for lawful consent)
Response templates, alert rules, and notes you create

5. What we do not do

We do not sell your review or customer contact data
We do not publish replies to Google without your explicit action (when publish is enabled)
We do not use your end-customer messaging contacts for Reputify marketing

6. Your controls

Disconnect Google — stops new GBP syncs (existing stored data may remain until you delete or export)
Export account data — available in-app under Security & Compliance → Privacy & Data Management
Delete account — permanent removal per Privacy Policy
